Internet Data Exchange (IDX)

Dear Broker:
Congratulations! As a customer of Southern California MLS you are automatically eligible to participate in our Internet Data Exchange (IDX)
program mandated by the National Association of REALTORS®. IDX is an exciting marketing opportunity that will benefit all of the customers of
SoCalMLS by increasing Internet exposure to all of the listings in the SoCalMLS database.
Plus it is easy to participate. If you agree, and in other areas acceptance has been near 100%, you do not have to do anything and your listings
are automatically available for display to millions of Internet consumers through any IDX authorized web site.
Please see the enclosed Q&A regarding the IDX program. There you can find more detailed explanations of the IDX program and its benefits to you
and your agents. If after reviewing this information you wish to "opt out" of the program merely return to us the IDX Broker Opt Out form.
If you wish to take advantage of the free IDX link that SoCalMLS is offering to its customers - a link which when framed on your web site will
allow visitors to your site the ability to search and display all SoCalMLS listings in the IDX program - please fax back a completed IDX Broker
Request Form. The IDX Agent Request Form may be copied and distributed to your agents who, with your permission, may also take advantage of the
SoCalMLS IDX solution.
