| What action can PWR take against the agent? |
| It will be up to the Panel. It may include a letter of warning, a fine, education requirements, suspension of MLS Service and Notification to the D.R.E. |
| Can you revoke a real estate agent’s license? |
| No, only the Department of Real Estate can revoke a real estate license. Visit www.ca.gov for more information. |
| I sent a letter cancelling my listing but the agent won’t release me from the contract. Why? |
| A listing Agreement is a two party cancel. The broker must be in agreement to cancel the listing. |
| If I file against a REALTOR® with PWR, will the complaint be made public? |
| The complaint you file with our association will be kept confidential. It’s not for public record. |
| What if the escrow company won’t release my deposit? |
| The buyer and seller must be in agreement to cancel a sale. If one party refuses, to sign for cancellation, you can file for mediation with PWR. |
| What do I do if the other agent is refusing to pay the full commission offered in the MLS? |
| First speak with the Agent’s Broker, if that is unsuccessful, you can file an arbitration at PWR. |
| What if want to file a complaint against an agent but I don’t want him to know who filed? |
| You can file an anonymous complaint with PWR if the facts support the complaint. |
| What if the agent is not calling me back or giving me any paperwork? |
| Contact PWR Pro Standards Department and we will put you in touch with an Ombudsman who can attempt to resolve the issue. |
